Well they vary. Summer-winter, day to day. Generally its around 9-4pm but if the weather isn’t great it can be a lot less and we may even be closed. We live upstairs so may be around but your best bet is to book online so we know you’re coming, or give us a call.
Just give us a call or email us with your request, and we’ll go from there. Don’t use Facebook or Instagram messenger please.

unfortunately we are slightly governed by the tides so our trips vary daily depending on when high tide is. If there are enough people in your booking, it is possible that we can put on another trip. Alternatively, just call us to check and we’ll take your number in case things change.
If you haven’t then the booking wasn’t made. Please check your bank account and try again.
when the boat doesn’t have enough space for your full party booking, it lets you book but your spaces aren’t confirmed until we confirm it with you. You will then need to pay at the shop on arrival.
we want you to be safe and enjoy yourself but at the same time we have a business to run and we are based in Taranaki! It’s like the Caribbean about 2 days of the year so if the skipper feels that its unsafe or really uncomfortable, we will let you know first thing in the morning. It may be quite last minute but experience tells us that what the weather man says isn’t always what is, so we like to have a look for ourselves.
we have a cancellation policy – you will get a full refund if you cancel before 5pm the day before. After this, unless we cancel, there is no refund. We can change the date or time for you at any point, free of charge.
between 7-10 working days although it tends to be sooner. It will come from the same name that it went out of your account on. The booking fee is non-refundable.
we’d avoid high heels or your Sunday best but otherwise come dressed appropriate for the weather, baring in mind its windier and cooler once outside of the port walls.
Yes but your spot isn’t guaranteed and if the boat isn’t running we wont be able to let you know until you get here.
just tell us if you have an issue regarding this.
if it will impact you, or other people on the boat, then yes. If something were to go wrong in that hour, does the Skipper need to know what to do to you and will you or the other passengers be at risk? If yes, then please do let us know. It will be confidential.
For bike, SUP and kayak hire it is a legal requirement. For the boat cruise it is helpful but not essential.
Please send us an email or call and ask for the owners. We endeavour to make you time with us, a very enjoyable and memorable occasion so we would like to know what we did wrong and how we can improve. If you have good feedback then please review us online on Facebook, Google or Tripadvisor.
Just give us a call during work hours.
