We live upstairs so may be around but your best bet is to book online so we know you’re coming, or give us a call.

Unfortunately we are slightly governed by the tides so our trips vary daily depending on when high tide is.
If there are enough people in your booking, it is possible that we can put on another trip.
Alternatively, just call us to check and we’ll take your number in case things change.

When the boat doesn’t have enough space for your full party booking, it lets you book but your spaces aren’t confirmed until we confirm it with you.
You will then need to pay at the shop on arrival.

We want you to be safe and enjoy yourself but at the same time we have a business to run and we are based in Taranaki!
It’s like the Caribbean about 2 days of the year so if the skipper feels that its unsafe or really uncomfortable, we will let you know first thing in the morning.
It may be quite last minute but experience tells us that what the weather man says isn’t always what is, so we like to have a look for ourselves.

We have a cancellation policy – you will get a full refund if you cancel before 5pm the day before. After this, unless we cancel, there is no refund. We can change the date or time for you at any point, free of charge.

We’d avoid high heels or your Sunday best but otherwise come dressed appropriate for the weather, baring in mind its windier and cooler once outside of the port walls.

Yes but your spot isn’t guaranteed and if the boat isn’t running we wont be able to let you know until you get here.

If it will impact you, or other people on the boat, then yes.
If something were to go wrong in that hour, does the Skipper need to know what to do to you and will you or the other passengers be at risk? If yes, then please do let us know.

For bike, SUP and kayak hire it is a legal requirement.
For the boat cruise it is helpful but not essential.
